Полный текст: I would like to talk about television and how it fits into the everyday life of teenagers. Watching TV is still a fairly popular pastime with teenagers, because it does not require much effort and helps them relax after a busy day at school. At the same time, fewer teenagers watch TV than before, since many of them now prefer video streaming services and social networks on their phones. Personally, I watch TV for about five hours a week, usually in the evening after I have finished my homework. On weekends I sometimes watch a bit more, especially if there is an interesting film or a sports match. The most popular programme in my family is the evening news, because my parents like to know what is happening in the country and in the world. We often watch it together at dinner time, and then we discuss the main events of the day. My attitude to TV is quite positive, because it gives me useful information and helps me improve my English by watching films in the original language. However, I try not to spend too much time in front of the screen, since it can take time away from studying and sport. I believe TV should be watched in moderation, together with other activities. To sum up, television remains an important part of family life, although its role is gradually changing.
