- What is your favorite food? Why do you like it?
- Is there any food you dislike? If yes, what is it?
- Where do you usually shop for food?
- Do you prefer to eat in or to eat out? Why?
- What Russian dishes would you recommend to a foreign guest?
Возможный ответ.
- My favorite food is pasta with tomato sauce. I like it because it is quick to cook, and it always tastes delicious no matter how many times I eat it.
- Yes, there is a food I dislike, and that is blue cheese. I simply cannot get used to its strong smell and taste, so I always avoid it.
- I usually shop for food at the supermarket near my house. Sometimes I also visit the local farmers' market at weekends, because the vegetables there are fresher.
- I prefer to eat in most of the time, because home-cooked food is healthier and cheaper. However, I enjoy eating out occasionally, since it is a nice way to relax with family or friends.
- I would recommend borsch and pelmeni to a foreign guest. Both dishes are traditional and give a good idea of typical Russian home cooking.
