- What part of Russia do you live in? What's the climate like in your region?
- Have you observed any changes in the climate of your region lately? What are they, if any?
- Do weather forecasts usually turn out to be right for your region?
- What is your favorite season? Why?
- What kind of climate would you prefer to live in?
Возможный ответ.
- I live in the Moscow region, in the central part of Russia. The climate here is moderate continental, with cold, snowy winters and warm summers.
- Yes, I have noticed some changes over the last few years. The winters have become shorter and less snowy, and summers often bring unusually hot days.
- They are usually quite accurate for the next day or two. However, long-term forecasts are often wrong, especially in spring and autumn.
- My favourite season is summer because I can spend more time outdoors with my friends. I also enjoy the long daylight hours and the warm weather.
- I would prefer a mild climate without extreme heat or cold. A climate like that would let me enjoy outdoor activities all year round.
