Subject: Eating out
…My friends and I enjoy eating out a lot. There are so many nice cafés around! How often do you eat out? Is eating out popular with young people in Russia, and why or why not? What traditional Russian dishes do you like?
I’ve just returned from a hiking trip…
Write an email to Carol.
In your message:
– answer her questions;
– ask 3 questions about the hiking trip.
Write 100–140 words.
Remember the rules of email writing.
Решение
Что нужно сделать. Ответить на три вопроса друга: как часто вы едите вне дома, популярно ли это у молодёжи в России и почему, какие традиционные русские блюда вам нравятся — и задать три вопроса о походе подруги.
Возможный ответ.
Dear Carol,
Thanks a lot for your email. I always enjoy reading about your life and the places you visit!
As for your questions, my family and I eat out about once a month, usually at weekends when we have more free time. Eating out is quite popular with young people in Russia, because it's a nice, easy way to relax and spend time with friends. My favourite traditional Russian dishes are borscht and pelmeni. They're absolutely delicious.
I'm really interested in your hiking trip. Where did you go hiking exactly? Who did you go with? What was the most memorable part of the whole trip?
I hope to hear from you again soon.
Best wishes,
Alex
