Что нужно сделать. Ответить на три вопроса друга: многие ли ученики выбирают вместо английского другой язык и почему, почему вы сами выбрали английский — и задать три вопроса о сборнике рассказов Чехова, который дочитала подруга.

Thank you for your email. It's great you've finished reading Chekhov's stories. He's one of my favourite writers!
As for your questions, quite a lot of Russian students choose German or Spanish instead of English. I think they do so because they find these languages less common and more interesting to learn. I chose English myself, because it's useful for travelling and understanding films and books in the original.
I'm curious about the collection of Chekhov's stories you finished. Which story did you like best? Was the language difficult to understand? Would you recommend the collection to me?
