Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Seasons”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
·explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
·mention the advantages (12) of the two seasons;
·mention the disadvantages (12) of the two seasons;
·express your opinion on the subject of the project say which of the seasons presented in the pictures you preferred as a child and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (1215 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Фотографии. 1) семья с маленькой дочкой гуляет в осеннем парке среди опавших листьев; 2) двое детей катаются с горки зимой: один на пластиковых санках, другой на тюбинге.
Что нужно сделать. 1) объяснить выбор фотографий, кратко описав их и отметив различия; 2) назвать 1–2 достоинства двух времён года; 3) назвать 1–2 недостатка этих времён года; 4) высказать мнение — какое из этих времён года вы предпочитали в детстве и почему.

Alex! So, about the seasons project — here's what I found, and why I picked it. There's a family walking through a park in one shot, laughing and kicking through all these golden autumn leaves. In the other, two kids are sliding along the snow: the one in front's on a plastic sledge, and the one behind is riding an inflatable snow tube. Gold leaves in one, white snow in the other — you can't get much more different than that, and it's exactly the point of the project.
What's great about autumn is the weather still lets you go for a proper long walk outside. Winter gives you things autumn simply can't, though — sledging, snowball fights, all of it. On the flip side, autumn brings rain and mud, and that can wreck a walk pretty quickly. Winter's downside is the cold and the ice — outdoor games stop being much fun once everything's slippery.
As a kid, winter always won for me — sledging with my mates after school was the best bit of the day. There's something about the cold air and the snow that just makes you feel wide awake. Both seasons have their charm, obviously, but winter's still my favourite, hands down. Anyway, I'd better run before Mum calls me for dinner — see you tomorrow, Alex!
