Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “The best family time”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of family time;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of family time;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which kind of family leisure you preferred as a child and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (1215 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Что нужно сделать. 1) кратко описать фотографии, обосновав их выбор для проекта; 2) сказать, чем фотографии отличаются, также обосновав выбор; 3) назвать 1–2 достоинства и 1–2 недостатка двух видов семейного отдыха; 4) высказать мнение — какой вид семейного досуга вы предпочитали в детстве и почему.

Emma, are you around? I want to talk you through the two photos for the family-time project. Both are about spending time together, just in really different settings. The first has a family sitting round a campfire in the woods, everyone holding mugs of something hot. The second is a mum and dad with their little one, standing by an enclosure at the zoo, watching an animal.
You couldn't ask for two more different settings, really: a quiet evening outdoors and a whole day out somewhere else entirely. Camping by the fire lets everyone switch their phones off and actually talk to each other. A zoo trip, meanwhile, is magic for little kids, since they get to see real wild animals close up. The trouble is, sitting outside gets miserable fast if the weather turns cold or wet. And zoos get seriously busy, with queues at every enclosure worth seeing.
Given the choice, I'd always pick camping — toasting marshmallows over the fire was the best part of being a kid. Those quiet evenings felt cosier to me than a noisy afternoon dodging crowds at the zoo. Both are lovely ways to spend family time, honestly, but camping wins it for me. I'll bring the real prints round at the weekend, promise — bye for now!
