- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of food;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of food;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which kind of food you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Ben, the food project — here's what I've gone with, two photos that couldn't be more different. In one, a young woman's holding two burgers, one in each hand. In the other, a girl's at the table while someone spoons fried eggs onto her plate straight from the pan, rice already sitting there next to it. Grabbing a burger and sitting down to a cooked meal are worlds apart, and that's exactly the kind of contrast the topic's asking for.
Fast food's biggest plus is speed, obviously, when there's no time to cook anything. Home cooking usually wins on health, though, since it's made with fresh ingredients rather than anything processed. The problem with fast food is all the fat and sugar packed into it. Cooking at home takes real effort, mind you — someone's got to shop, prep and actually cook the thing.
Given the choice, home-cooked food wins for me every time — it tastes better, and I know exactly what's in it. A burger's a nice treat occasionally, but it's never going to replace a proper dinner. Both have their place, sure, but home cooking comes out on top for me. Anyway, I'm getting hungry just talking about this — speak later!
