Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Shopping”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
- explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
- mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of shopping;
- mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of shopping;
- express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of shopping you prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (1215 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Фотографии. 1) семья с тележкой, полной продуктов, идёт по проходу в супермаркете; 2) женщина на диване с ноутбуком держит в руке банковскую карту.
Что нужно сделать. 1) кратко описать фотографии, обосновав их выбор; 2) сказать, чем фотографии отличаются, также обосновав выбор; 3) назвать 1–2 достоинства и 1–2 недостатка двух видов шопинга; 4) высказать мнение — какой способ покупок вы предпочитаете и почему.

Sam, shopping project — two photos, pretty self-explanatory once you see them. One's a family pushing a trolley full of groceries down a supermarket aisle. The other's a woman on her sofa, laptop open, holding her bank card while she shops online. A real shop in one, a laptop screen in the other — between them, that's basically how everyone shops these days.
Shopping in a store means you can see, touch and try things before handing over any money. Online shopping's biggest plus is convenience — you can order from home whenever it suits you. The downside of a real shop is time, especially once you hit a queue at the till. Online has its own downside, mind you — sometimes you're waiting days for the parcel to turn up.
I'd pick online myself, honestly — it saves time, and comparing prices takes seconds. A trip to the shop's fine now and then, but I usually go for the faster option. Both ways are useful, obviously, but online just fits my life better. I'll send you the actual photos once I'm back online — bye for now!
