Imagine that you are doing a project on why many young Zetlanders choose to major in technical studies. You have found some data on the subject – the results of a survey (see the table below) .
Comment on the survey data and give your opinion on the subject of the project.

I am currently doing a school project that looks at what attracts young Zetlanders to technical studies. To gather material, I found the results of a survey conducted among young Zetlanders who study technical subjects at university.
The table shows that 48 percent of the students questioned chose this field because of their "interest in technology", while 20 percent were driven by its "public significance". A further 18 percent were attracted by a "high salary".
If we compare the two least common reasons, only 9 percent mentioned "many job vacancies", and merely 5 percent picked "practical skills development". Genuine curiosity clearly matters more than financial or practical considerations here. Public significance and salary together, at 38 percent, still fall well short of the 48 percent driven by curiosity alone.
Technology moves so quickly that some of the skills a graduate learns at university can feel outdated within just a few years. Encouraging graduates to keep taking short online courses throughout their career would help them stay up to date. Employers, for their part, could support this by offering paid training time during working hours.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that choosing the right profession is of great importance, because a career that genuinely matches a person's own interests brings far more lasting satisfaction than one chosen for a high salary alone.

I am currently working on a school project that explores what young Zetlanders value most in life. To research this, I found a pie chart with the results of a survey conducted among young Zetlanders about their priorities.
According to the data, 33 percent of the respondents named a "loving family" as the most important thing in life, while 29 percent chose "true friends". A further 20 percent said an "interesting job" mattered most.
Comparing the two least common answers is revealing: only 12 percent picked "much money", and just 6 percent chose a "beautiful house". Close relationships clearly matter more than material comfort or wealth. Family and friends together account for 62 percent of young Zetlanders' answers, more than the remaining three options combined.
Chasing money or possessions before anything else is a trap many young people fall into, only realising later that relationships bring far more lasting happiness. Spending more unstructured time with family and friends, rather than filling every hour with paid work, would help avoid this mistake. Simple family traditions, kept regularly, tend to matter far more than expensive occasional gestures.
To conclude, in my opinion, a loving family is undoubtedly the most valuable thing a person can have, because no achievement, job or possession can ever truly replace the steady support that close relatives provide throughout a person's entire life.
