Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Doing homework”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
·explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
·mention the advantages (1–2) of the two ways of doing homework;
·mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two ways of doing homework;
·express your opinion on the subject of the project – which way of doing homework you preferred
in primary school and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Кратко описать обе фотографии для проекта «Как делать домашнее задание», отметить, чем они различаются, и связать их с темой проекта; назвать 1–2 достоинства и 1–2 недостатка двух способов делать домашнее задание; высказать своё мнение — какой способ делать домашнее задание вы предпочитали в начальной школе и почему — и обосновать его; начать высказывание с обращения к другу и завершить его прощальной фразой.

Hey Olivia, it's me! I've chosen two photos for our "Doing homework" project. The first shows a schoolgirl working completely on her own, sitting at a table and writing away in her notebook. In the second, a mother is sitting next to her daughter at a table with a laptop, helping her with homework while the girl looks pretty tired, so unlike the first photo, here she isn't figuring everything out by herself. Doing homework alone teaches you to be independent and lets you go at your own speed. Getting help from a parent, meanwhile, means mistakes get fixed right away, which makes you feel a lot more confident. Of course, working alone can be tough if you get stuck with no one around to ask. And sometimes when a parent helps, they end up doing far too much of the work themselves. Thinking back to primary school, I definitely preferred doing my homework with my mum sitting next to me. Getting explanations straight away made everything so much easier back then. Anyway, that's roughly my view on it. Let's talk more about it later. See you soon, Olivia!
