Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Masterclasses”. You have found some photos to illustrate it but for technical reasons you cannot send them now. Leave a voice message to your friend explaining your choice of the photos and sharing some ideas about the project. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
·explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting the differences;
·mention the advantages (1–2) of the two types of masterclasses;
·mention the disadvantages (1–2) of the two types of masterclasses;
·express your opinion on the subject of the project – which of these masterclasses you’d prefer to attend and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (12–15 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Что нужно сделать. 1) объяснить выбор фотографий, кратко описав их и отметив различия; 2) назвать 1–2 достоинства двух видов мастер-классов; 3) назвать 1–2 недостатка этих мастер-классов; 4) высказать мнение — какой из этих мастер-классов вы бы предпочли посетить и почему.

Leo, masterclasses project — two photos, and they teach completely different things. The first has a chef in a white hat teaching a group of kids how to cook in a kitchen. The second shows an art teacher helping children paint on easels in a studio. Pots and pans in one, paintbrushes in the other — two completely different skills, which is exactly what the topic's about.
A cooking class teaches practical stuff you can actually use every single day, which is a big plus. Painting builds creativity instead, and lets you get your feelings out through art. The catch with cooking is mess, plus the ingredients aren't always cheap. Painting needs its own special materials, and the result doesn't always turn out how you'd hoped.
I'd go for cooking myself — learning recipes I can actually make for my family feels worth the effort. Painting sounds relaxing, sure, but cooking just feels more useful to me day to day. Both are worth trying, honestly, but cooking would be my first choice. Cooking's my pick, no contest — which one would you go for, Leo? Tell me tomorrow, bye!
