Task 4. Imagine that you and your friend are doing a school project “Jobs”. You have found some illustrations and want to share the news. Leave a voice message to your friend. In 2.5 minutes be ready to:
·explain the choice of the illustrations for the project by briefly describing them and noting
the differences;
·mention the advantages (12) of the two jobs;
·mention the disadvantages (12) of the two jobs;
·express your opinion on the subject of the project which of the jobs presented in the pictures you’d prefer and why.
You will speak for not more than 3 minutes (1215 sentences). You have to talk continuously.

Что нужно сделать. Кратко описать обе фотографии для проекта «Профессии», отметить, чем они различаются, и связать их с темой проекта; назвать 1–2 достоинства и 1–2 недостатка двух профессий; высказать своё мнение — какую из этих профессий вы бы предпочли и почему — и обосновать его; начать высказывание с обращения к другу и завершить его прощальной фразой.

Hi Adam, it's me again! I've picked two photos for the "Jobs" project, and I can't wait to explain them. The first one shows a receptionist at a hotel desk, talking politely to a businessman in a suit, with clocks showing different time zones on the wall behind her. The second shows a chef in a white uniform and a tall hat, carefully arranging food on a plate in a professional kitchen. So while the receptionist spends her day dealing with guests at a front desk, the chef is busy cooking behind the scenes, which makes for a nice contrast between two very different jobs. Working on reception means a comfortable office and the chance to meet all kinds of interesting people. Being a chef is wonderfully creative, and there's nothing like watching someone enjoy a dish you've made. However, reception work can get repetitive, and dealing with a difficult guest now and then is inevitable. A chef's job involves long hours on your feet in a kitchen that's hot and often stressful. Given the choice, I'd become a chef without hesitation. It's such a creative job, and good chefs are always in demand. I also love the idea of making something people genuinely enjoy.
