Hey Owen! I finally chose two photos for our "Family pastime" project, so let me explain. The first shows a family of three sitting on the sofa, each one glued to their own phone. The second shows two parents walking hand in hand with their son along a path through an autumn forest full of golden leaves, actually talking to each other instead of staring at screens. Spending time on gadgets at home is relaxing, and everyone gets to enjoy whatever they personally like. Going for a walk together, though, gives you great exercise and a real chance to talk and enjoy nature as a family. The downside of gadget time is that family members often barely speak to one another. Walks depend on decent weather, and they take more effort to organise than just staying on the sofa. For me, there's no contest — I'd choose going for a walk together every time. It's proper quality time, and it beats staring at a screen by a mile. Anyway, that's my honest opinion. Let me know your thoughts too. Catch you soon, Owen!
